You can create more complex items from your Soul, unlike other abilities that allow you to make weapons you don’t have to prebuild them though its recommended, for a weapon you want to make you use half your small casting modifier rounded up to build it. These weapons ignore Defense  & pass through Soul creations/bubbles.  When you attack with these weapons you are using your casting modifier to attack.
